Als Nachhaltigkeitsexperte (m/w/d) bist du entscheidend dafür, unsere Berichtsmodule mit relevanten Inhalten zu füllen. Dein Know-how hilft uns, die wichtigsten Standards und Frameworks – wie ESRS, CDP, GRI, DNK, EcoVadis, ISO 14001/26000 und viele mehr – in einer schlagkräftigen Wissensdatenbank zu verankern. Damit leitest du unsere Kunden durch alle gesetzlichen und freiwilligen Berichtsprozesse.

Deine Aufgaben

Framework-Integration: Du entwickelst unsere Nachhaltigkeits-Berichtsmodule weiter und verfeinerst sie. Das heißt konkret: Du integrierst wichtige Frameworks wie ESRS, GRI, CDP, DNK, EcoVadis, ISO 14001/26000 und den UN Global Compact tief in unsere Plattform.
Content-Bündelung: Du strukturierst und pflegst unsere interne Wissensdatenbank mit Berichtskriterien und Kennzahlen. Deine Mission ist es, komplexe Anforderungen in einfach nutzbare Inhalte zu verwandeln.
Regulierungs-Radar: Du hältst dich up-to-date über neue EU- und internationale Gesetze (CSRD, SFDR, EU-Taxonomie), freiwillige Initiativen und Rating-Methoden. Das Wichtigste: Du übersetzt diese Updates in konkrete, umsetzbare Anleitungen für unsere Kunden.
Kunden-Power: Du unterstützt unsere Kunden dabei, die Hürden beim Reporting und bei Ratings zu nehmen. Von Double Materiality bis zur Vorbereitung von Audit-sicheren Dokumenten – du bist ihr Guide.
Interne Zusammenarbeit: Du arbeitest eng mit den Produkt-, Customer-Success- und Content-Teams zusammen. So stellst du sicher, dass unsere Plattform immer die aktuellsten Anforderungen und Best Practices abbildet.

Dein Profil

Du hast erste Erfahrung im Bereich Nachhaltigkeits-Reporting, ESG-Beratung oder Corporate Responsibility.
Du hast fundiertes Praxiswissen zu Standards und Frameworks wie ESRS, CDP, GRI, DNK, EcoVadis, ISO 14001/26000 und TCFD.
Du bewegst dich sicher in EU-Regulierungen wie der CSRD, der EU-Taxonomie und der SFDR.
Du weißt, wie man komplexe Anforderungen in strukturierte Dokumentationen oder Datenbanken übersetzt – Excel und Google Sheets sind dein Tool Kit.
Du verstehst, wie wichtig evidenzbasierte Dokumentation für Audits und Ratingprozesse ist.
Du hast starke Fähigkeiten in Projektmanagement und im Umgang mit verschiedenen Stakeholdern.
Du arbeitest selbstständig, lösungsorientiert und strukturiert.
Du kommunizierst fließend Englisch und Deutsch.

Your role

At Sunhat, we empower sustainability teams with a collaborative platform that unifies ESG requirements and delivers audit-ready data.

As a Sustainability Expert, you will play a key role in enhancing the content of our reporting modules. Your expertise will help integrate leading standards and frameworks- such as ESRS, CDP, GRI, DNK, EcoVadis, ISO 14001/26000, and others - into a robust knowledge base that guides our customers through regulatory and voluntary reporting processes.

This role is ideal for someone who combines sustainability expertise with a proactive, entrepreneurial spirit and is excited to work at the intersection of technology, compliance, and customer success.

Your mission

Framework integration: Contribute to the development and refinement of sustainability reporting modules, embedding frameworks such as ESRS, GRI, CDP, DNK, EcoVadis, ISO 14001/26000, and the UN Global Compact.
Content consolidation: Structure and maintain Sunhat’s internal database of reporting criteria and performance indicators, transforming complex requirements into usable content.
Regulatory monitoring: Stay up to date with evolving EU and international regulations (e.g. CSRD, SFDR, EU Taxonomy), voluntary initiatives, and rating methodologies — and translate these updates into actionable guidance.
Customer enablement: Support customers in navigating sustainability reporting and rating challenges, from scoping double materiality to preparing documentation and audit-ready evidence.
Internal collaboration: Work closely with product, customer success, and content teams to ensure our platform reflects the latest requirements and best practices.

Your profile

You bring first experience in sustainability reporting, ESG consulting, or corporate responsibility.
You have hands-on knowledge of reporting standards and frameworks such as ESRS, CDP, GRI, DNK, EcoVadis, ISO 14001/26000, and TCFD.
You are comfortable navigating EU regulatory frameworks like the CSRD, EU Taxonomy, and SFDR.
You have experience translating complex requirements into structured documentation or databases — Excel and Google Sheets are your playground.
You understand the importance of evidence-based documentation in audit and rating processes.
You have strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
You work independently, with a solution-oriented and structured approach.
You communicate fluently in English and German.
